Kayley Dixon is a fierce advocate who believes in cultivating healthy communities and creating sustainable change.
She was born and raised in Dartmouth and has been a community and youth worker for the last eight years in the area. She has organized and led several grassroots initiatives researching and tackling issues such as food insecurity, violence, substance abuse, and mental health. She passionately advocates for access to recreational and developmental opportunities and hubs to combat such issues.
Kayley also believes in the power of the arts, and as a spoken word poet, uses her voice to speak out against systemic anti-black racism, misogyny, xenophobia and more.
As a dedicated and called upon changemaker with a track record of authenticity and fearlessness, she promises to truly fight for people and their quality of life in Cole Harbour-Dartmouth.
